Privacy Policy

Template document

This page is a generic privacy-policy scaffold written for a front-end demo. It makes no specific claims about how any real company processes data, names no real controller or processor, and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Replace every section with a policy that describes your actual data flows before using this in production.

1.Scope of this policy

This policy describes the categories of personal data a service of this kind typically collects, why it is collected, and the choices a user has. It applies to the website and the signed-in application, and not to third-party sites reachable from them.

2.Information collected

  • Account data — the name, email address, and password credential used to create and access an account.
  • Content you submit — descriptions, transcripts, links, uploaded video, reference images, avatars, logos, and brand colours.
  • Generated output — the images produced for you and the settings used to produce them.
  • Billing data — plan, interval, and transaction records. Card details are handled by a payment processor and are not stored by the service.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and log records of requests.

3.How information is used

To operate accounts, run the features you ask for, apply plan and credit limits, process payments, keep the platform secure, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. Aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics may be used to improve the product.

4.Legal bases

Where the GDPR or a comparable regime applies, processing is grounded in performance of a contract (delivering the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product improvement), consent (optional marketing email), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

5.Cookies and local storage

The site uses browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. Analytics or advertising cookies, where used, are described in the cookie notice presented at first visit, and non-essential cookies are set only with consent.

6.Sharing and processors

Personal data is shared with service providers acting on documented instructions — hosting, storage, model inference, payment processing, email delivery, and error monitoring — and with authorities where legally required. It is not sold.

7.Retention

Data is kept for as long as the account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Deleting an account starts deletion of the content associated with it, subject to backup rotation.

8.Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege administration. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10.International transfers

Providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, transfers rely on an approved safeguard such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

11.Children

The service is not directed at children under the age required for consent in their country, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If such an account is identified it is removed.

12.Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. Material changes are reflected in the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified to account holders.

13.Contact

Privacy questions should go to the operator of the service through the contact route published on its website. See also the Terms of Service.
